General Terms and Conditions

GTC of Mail Order
-We reserve the right to make changes to our general terms and conditions  - also known as GTC without notice and at any time.
-You are subject to the GTC and policies of our company at the time you visited our e-shop and purchased from it.
-The content of the pages of this web site is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
-It is your own responsibility to ensure that all products, services and information available throughout this web site meet your specific requirements.
-This web site contains material which is owned  by or licensed to us. This includes the design, layout, photography, appearance and graphics. Reproduction of any of our copyrights, design rights and intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited.
-You may not exploit the content of this web site, except with our prior express written permission.
-Goods made available to the customer may not be reproduced and/ or published, distributed or exploited in any manner whatsoever, without the prior express permission, in writing, from Love Vintage Beads.

 -We will endeavour to supply all information, including images, notices given orally, by telephone or in writing-including electronically, and including all principal features of the products, including descriptions, as accurately as possible.
-In accordance with the above, please note that all weights and quantities are estimates only. All items sold in lots, batches or by the string may vary slightly in weight and quantity.
-We endeavour to produce and publish extremely high quality images which reflect, as far as possible, the true colour, texture and tonal qualities of the products. As all computer settings vary from one monitor to another, we cannot guarantee that the product you receive will be an exact match to the true colour of the product. If you are not happy with the product you have received by mail order, you can return unused items, in their original condition, to us. We will then issue you with a credit or refund. Please see the ‘Refunds & Returns’ page for full details.
-Love Vintage Beads is not liable for unavoidable deviations in quality, quantity, colours, measurements and finishes of our products. Where variations occur, we will endeavour to point these out in the product description which is listed individually on every product page. These variations do not constitute faulty goods and therefore cannot be rejected by the customer on this basis. If you believe you have received faulty gods from us, please read the information on the ‘Returns & Refunds’ page. It is essential that you contact us before returning goods.

Ordering
-There is no minimum order.
-When you place an order with Love Vintage Beads, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and the details of your order. An e-mail confirmation will then be sent to you. The order is accepted by Love Vintage Beads when you receive an e-mail confirming the dispatch of your order. Any products on the order which we have not confirmed, or vary from the request (such as unavailable quantities), will be highlighted in a separate e-mail and do not form part of that contract of sale, unless otherwise stated. Billing adjustments will be made accordingly.
-We reserve the right to reject any order.

Payment
-All products remain the property of Love Vintage Beads until paid for in full.
-All payment to Love Vintage Beads must be in £ Sterling.
-If payment is not receive by us within two weeks of the order being placed, the order will be automatically cancelled.
-Although we try to avoid price fluctuations, Love Vintage Beads reserves the right to change prices without notice.
-Unless we agree otherwise, all payments must be made in one of the following ways:
    •Prepayment using PayPal. The customer must transfer the amounts due,         including postage and packaging (p&p) charges and any additional charges      to the PayPal account in the name of Love Vintage Beads.
    •Prepayment via credit or debit card. The customer must pay the total             amount due including p&p charges and any additional charges, via PayPal         or over the telephone.
    •Prepayment by cheque. The customer must pay the total amount due             including p&p charges and any additional charges by cheque. Currently,             cheques are still payable to Crystals4Less and should be sent to     Love             Vintage Beads, P.O.Box 47867, London, NW11 1AF. We suggest you leave         the amount section blank and marked ‘not to exceed £x’ to allow for cost             variations. We strongly recommend that you provide us with a contact             telephone number in case we need to advise of any issues concerning your     order.

-We aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours of confirmation, not including weekends. All orders will be posted by Royal Mail 1st class, with a certificate of postage, unless otherwise stated by us or requested by you.

Delivery
-We strongly recommend that the customer inspects the goods on delivery. Any complaints relating to defects of the products must be made to us within 14 days of the date of dispatch. Any complaints made after this time will not be considered, except in extenuating circumstances.
-All postage and packaging prices are calculated according to weight. This allows us to keep the postage costs to a minimum. All weights and quantities listed are approximations.
-Love Vintage Beads aims to ensure that all orders are sent to you with proof of delivery and /or postage. All goods ordered from us are packaged and secured to ensure that you receive them in their original and/ or perfect condition.
-Love Vintage Beads is not responsible for good which are lost or damaged in transit.
-In the unlikely event that goods ordered from us are damaged, we will refund or replace items at our discretion. This will be carried out only if we are notified before the goods are returned and the claim is made within 14 days from the date of dispatch. If we deem that we are liable for damaged or faulty goods, we will not charge postage for replaced items or refunds sent by post.

Our Vintage Products
-To the best of our knowledge, Love Vintage beads does not sell any new or modern (21st century) products, unless otherwise stated. Due to the nature of the products we sell, it is unavoidable that some items will suffered some obvious deterioration over time. Love Vintage Beads will not accept responsibility or liability for slight defects in products, due to their age and which do not affect the overall appearance or performance of the products.
-You therefore accept that by their very nature, the vintage products that we offer may not be in perfect condition and that the materials and products on this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
-We will endeavour, wherever possible, to inform you if goods for sale on this site are not in perfect condition.
-Please note that since many of our beads are unique and all are in limited quantities, we cannot guarantee availability on any of our products. If a product has completely sold out, it will be removed from the web site. In some instances we may be able to source the product again. Please refer to our ‘Ordering’ page for more information.
- Customers who only have access to print catalogues will be notified of both sold out and new items by post, at intermittent periods, and through our newsletter.
-As all of our beads are available in limited quantities we regret that we do not offer wholesale purchases. We do, however, offer discounts to all customers on specified products.

Shipping

-We will always strive to dispatch your order at the earliest possibly convenience but please note that dispatch dates are estimates and should only be used as a guide.
-Love Vintage Beads is not responsible for good which are lost or damaged in transit. We will not be held responsible if the postal service fails to deliver or is delayed in delivering goods ordered from us.
-Love Vintage Beads is based in the UK. Customers wishing to receive goods from outside the UK must make their own enquiries with regard to import regulations, customs and duties in the country of destination. All duties, VAT and other financial consequences of import will be at the customer’s expense.

Ordering
-All payments must be made in £ sterling.
-You can place orders by fax, phone, e-mail and post.
-Because we are selling rare beads, the stock availability can be extremely limited. In some cases, we may be able to source and restock certain products. If you have attempted to purchase a higher quantity than is available from our e-shop, please contact us and we will endeavour to fulfil your request.
-Online orders are processed by PayPal, which is a secure payment gateway which accepts credit and debit cards. PayPal will process your payment even if you do not have an account with them.
-To enable us to provide the most efficient service to you, we strongly recommend that you provide us with a contact number or e-mail address, in case of queries.
-Please note that all weights and quantities displayed on our web site are approximations only.

Returns
-If you wish to return ANY item, you must notify us first.
-If you have received faulty goods you must notify us within 14 days of the date of dispatch. We recommend that you check your items when you receive them.
-After 14 days have elapsed, the customer will be deemed to have approved the delivered good and the invoices respectively. Complaints will not be considered after this time.
-If you wish to make a claim, please read the section on ‘Our Vintage Products’ first to help determine if your goods are faulty.
-We will credit or refund unused items if returned to us within 14 days of the date of dispatch. These items must be returned in the original condition in which you received them. Please ensure that returns are well packaged and protected. We cannot credit returns which either fail to arrive or are damaged in transit. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you package items in a padded envelope (such as a jiffy bag), obtain proof of postage -or use the Recorded Signed For service. Returns will not be accepted after 14 days, except in extenuating circumstances.
-We do not accept returns of beads which are not in their original condition or state when you received them. They must be in a saleable condition; broken or incomplete strings of beads or chain which have been cut will not be accepted. Products must be returned with a copy of the invoice on which they appear.

-Original payments made in cash or by cheque will be refunded by cheque.
-Original payments made by card will be refunded onto the same card.
-Love Vintage Beads is not responsible for the cost of postage of returned items.
-A minimum of £1.30 p&p will be charged to send exchanges. The cost will be determined by the weight of the goods in question.
-Earrings are non-returnable.

Lost or Damaged Items
-Love Vintage Beads are not responsible for goods which are lost or damaged in transit. We will, wherever possible, post orders with a certificate of postage. The most secure way to receive your order is to use Royal Mail’s Special Next Day Delivery service. An additional cost of £4 will be added to your bill if you wish to use this service. We strongly recommend this for orders over £50 and if you have an unreliable postal service in your area.
-All items are packaged and secured before dispatch to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition.
-In the unlikely event that goods ordered from us are damaged, we will refund or replace items at our discretion. You must notify us first within 14 days of the date of dispatch.

-This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings.

-This agreement is governed by English law and falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
